Based on ~60 bricks/m² (single) or 120/m² (double), including mortar joints. Add spares for repairs.
How many bricks do you need?
Work out the wall area (length × height in metres), then multiply by the bricks per square metre:
- Single skin (half-brick wall): about 60 bricks/m²
- Double skin (one-brick wall): about 120 bricks/m²
These figures include standard 10mm mortar joints. Always add around 10% for cuts and breakages, and keep a few spares — brick colours vary between batches.
